Krishnamurti – The Real Revolution

by LRS in Sharing Transparently

The following two videos show a 30-minute documentary featuring Jiddu Krishnamurti. They were recorded for television in 1966. The short documentary is one of the earliest films (with sound) recorded of Krishnamurti speaking to audiences.

There are many interesting aspects of this that are worth noting:

  • The content is still immensely relevant even today, despite being filmed in 1966.
  • This content was filmed for television. Do we see content asking these questions on today’s TV?
  • You can see Krishnamurti talking in schools, would this happen today?

After you have watched the content please do join the questioning below in the comments.

The world is in a state of needless pain, this pain exists in us all. It is manifest through almost all we consider to be normal or part of everyday life. One aspiration would be to help others with this pain, however first before we can help anyone we must help and understand our own internal existence. From embarking on this process a natural direction is to help provide and contribute to a platform, organisation or movement that operates from a new paradigm. A paradigm that respects and supports all, not just the few.
